true salon | spa is open!

after a mandatory closure in march 2020, true salon | spa reopened for services on friday, may 15, 2020.  we adjusted our business hours and split our staff into shifts with schedules ensuring we never reached a capacity that would not accommodate the 6' physical distancing requirement.  we never have more than six support staff on any single shift.  we acquired and maintain the needed supplies and products necessary to remain open safely and in alignment with the safety guidelines set forth by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetologists and Barbers. your stylist will be wearing a mask and a face shield during your service.  additionally, we have removed chairs from both the salon and color cafe to keep a safe distance between each guest receiving a service.

what to expect at your next appointment

  • please plan to arrive 10 minutes early and wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. we do not have a waiting area.  if you are more than 5 minutes late, you may need to reschedule your appointment.  we must adhere to strict guidelines regarding number of people in the salon and cannot risk backups at this time. there will be no exceptions.

  • please properly wear a face mask secured to your ears to your appointment.  if you don’t have one, a disposable mask will be provided for you while supplies last.  if our supply runs out and you don’t have your own, you will need to reschedule. no one will be mask free in true until this is over.

  • only a person with an appointment will be allowed to enter the salon at their appointment time. guests/children not receiving services will not be allowed in the salon.

  • you will be asked to sanitize your hands, answer a few questions, and have your temperature checked before entering true. in accordance with CDC guidelines, if you have a temperature above 100.4, you will not be allowed to enter and will need to reschedule your appointment.

  • there will be no physical contact with anyone on our staff except your stylist and a masked shampoo tech to shampoo your hair.  no hand shaking, hugs, fist bumps, hand massages, etc.

  • we will be using freshly laundered capes and sanitized brushes/combs for each service.  we will NOT be providing robes for you to change into.  please wear a collarless shirt and if you're receiving a color service, an old t-shirt is recommended.

  • our goal is to have you in and out of true as quickly as possible. if you’re receiving a haircut only, consider shampooing and conditioning it at home.  we can spray it quickly when you arrive and eliminate any additional contact with one of our team members.

  • we have enabled touch-less pay options at checkout.  any contact with a machine will be immediately sanitized.  we discourage any cash exchanges for service at this time.

  • free serve coffee/tea/water will not be offered

  • to avoid spreading germs, we will not have magazines, menus, business cards or any paper material available for you to use.

  • limit belongings you bring with you to a single handbag.  we ask that its contents remain inside at all times with the exception of your phone and payment at checkout.  we request gentlemen leave their caps in their cars.

  • please remember we may have to use extra color depending on your regrowth and time you let pass between your maintenance appointments, which could result in an additional color add-on charge.
