liam

educator

**please note liam is no longer accepting new color clients**

liam moved from colorado to georgia as a young child and has been around the hair industry since his mother became a stylist in the late 1990s. seeing the influence she had on guests in her chair spoke to him and piqued his interest at an early age. she encouraged him to pursue a career in this industry early but what man follows in their mother's footsteps?

after a few years in college studying construction management at georgia southern university and a stint working in commercial roofing, liam finally returned to his still present interest of hair dressing. he worked as an assistant at true salon|spa while he attended the Toni&Guy Academy in marietta. graduating in 2011, he began his advanced apprenticeship at true under stephani, our technical director.

after a few years of hair dressing, liam developed a passion for men’s hair cutting and more masculine styling. drawing off his knowledge of architecture and design, he is able to bring that skill to his approach of crafting men’s hair. he attended numerous cutting and styling courses and completed the curriculum of The Grooming Collective, an advanced course specifically designed for barbering skills and techniques and well as languaging when dealing with male clients in a salon environment. with this training, he became certified and is now an educator for our team at true. his knowledge and passion are his greatest assets as he is responsible for training all our stylists to create consistency in men’s grooming.

in his off time, liam is likely being followed by one of his two fur children, akir or bulla.

btw, his mother is extremely proud.
